Last Day Supplies

I believe God is giving us a warning in plenty of time to get our lives in order. Not only do we need to be saved and accept Jesus Christ as Savior to prepare our hearts and souls, we need to heed the warnings from God and prepare our physical lives and natural surroundings as well. I have already told you that we will have periods of time with no electric or running water. We will have difficulties shopping and buying food and supplies we need for daily living. We will not be able to buy gas for our vehicles for periods of time. Banking is going to come to a stand still and we will not be able to get our money out of the banks. I am not real sure why all these things happen. It could be caused by terrorist attacks, we may have a big storm or natural disaster of some sort, it could be our government trying to control us. It may be war and devastation in another country that affect us globally. I am not sure. I just saw the problem in my vision, not the reason for the problem. You are not going to have a warning. You are going to go to bed with everything just fine and wake up to not being able to buy or sell for periods of time. So start preparing now. Don't wait for the government to tell you or wait till you hear it talked about on the news.

The best thing to do is stock up on extra food and water that could hold you over for a month or two. Go ahead and start gathering a few things at a time right now. For example, If you normally buy 2 cans of tuna a week, then go ahead and pick up 2 extra cans and keep it in your emergency supplies. Keep extra cash on hand at home. Keep your car full of gas. Have an emergency or evacuation plan in tact. Go ahead and get important papers and photos together that you could grab quickly. I live on the west coast of Florida and this is what we do all the time especially during those few months of hurricane season. It may sound like a big deal or alot of trouble, but it really isn't. We just carry on our everyday lives as usual, but if we are told to evacuate we can load the car up and take off within no time because we already have everything together. If we don't have to evacuate but we are home bound for a few days we are alright with it and do not have to rush out and stand in long lines trying to get supplies. I never park my car on empty at night. When I start getting less than a half tank, I fill up again. As far as extra food goes, I just keep simple things like peanut butter and jelly, can tuna, can fruit, saltines, gatorade, dry milk and plenty of bottled water. If you have babies you should keep extra formula, baby food and juices for them.

You should have an extra supply of medication around if possible. Ask your doctor next time you go to write out your presciptions for 3 month supply at a time. Have your medicine cabinet stocked with over the counter drugs such as cold medication, cough medication, aspirin, tylenol, motrin, something for a fever or allergy. Especially if you have children. You do not want them to suffer for days or weeks if you are unable to buy medicines.

I also try to keep paper products around like paper plates, cups, forks and spoons. If you have no running water you will not be able to wash dishes. Make sure you have plenty of garbage bags, toillet paper, and paper towels. Again if you have babies you should buy some extra diapers. Or teenage girls may need feminine products.

Keep cleaners around to disinfect such as bleach, salt, baking soda, vinegar and lysol spray. If there is no running water you won't be able to flush your toilets. You will also need bug sprays. If we have no electric that means people will have to have their windows open and you will definitely need bug sprays for your body and for your house.

You'll need flash lights, candles, matches, battery operated radio and extra batteries.

If you have a pet, you should have extra pet food and a plan to take your pet with you if you must evacuate or board them in a kennel.

The items above are small, inexpensive things you can do. If you can afford it, a generator and gas grill would be helpful as well. If we were to be hit by a EMP bomb, like some think may happen, there would be no electric, no running water, no communication (television, computors, radio,no phones or cell phones). There may not be newspapers or mail service either. You would not be able to call 911 for police or ambulance. There would be no banking transactions. If you have a newer model car that has a computor chip or an electronic brain your car would not start either. You know things would be alot like it was when my grandparents were young, back in the 30's or 40's.

I know some of this sounds really extreme and it may be. You may never need any kind of emergency supplies. But it would not hurt to take a few precautions and have a few things stocked up just in case. And even if you don't need them maybe someone you know will. Or after a few months donate them to a church or something.

Your best preparation is your relationship and communication with God through Jesus Christ. GOD SPEAKS TO HIS CHILDREN!! Talk to Him daily about every tiny little detail in your life. Listen to Him talk to you. He will tell you what to do and how to do things. He knows what is best for you. What is good for you may not be what is good for someone else. DO NOT FOLLOW OTHER PEOPLE. LISTEN TO GOD AND DO WHAT HE TELLS YOU TO DO!!!
